Wobbly surfing

We left the big kids home (they had to work) and went to the Galveston last week. We missed Rob and Paul but it was so good to get away. All 3 growing kids traded up, in wetsuits this year.

In Galveston things are much more back to normal along the seawall but there are still lots of scars. Where the seawall wasn't present is another story. There the devastation is still just breathtaking; the rebuilding and cleanup has still barley begun.

The surf was really rough and very crowded but Paul looked great! It was so fun to watch.

Gloria used her boogey board. Dan and Sara spent most of their time helping each other on the surf board. They are getting better and better.

Man! I love this face!

That looks like so much fun. Our Michael wants to start surfing. They are so close to the beaches in So. Cali. I can't wait to see their whole family do the same thing as they get older. It was so much fun talking with you the other day. Whatever Robin decides we will be there for her. lv you guys

I was telling Larry about how awesome I think it is that you all go surfing! He was pretty impressed, too. Not many families can include "surfing" on their family activities. btw, I LOVE the photo of the back end of the surfboard and someone leg! Very cool.
